Domain Parking

What is domain parking? ↑Top

Domain Parking is simple way to earn money from your domains' natural traffic. The idle domain is used to display relevant advertisements, every time a consumer clicks on one of the advertisements, you earn money. If you have registered domain names, but they are not currently being used, then domain parking is a great way to put those domains to work, earning you revenue.

How does domain parking work? ↑Top

When you park your domain with Namerich we will host relevant advertisements on your parking page. You will earn revenue each time an interested visitor clicks through on an advertisement.

How do I park my domains? ↑Top

After registering on the NameRich.com website, you can enter the domains you want to park into your account.  Next you'll need to go to your registrar and change the DNS settings for each domain.

How much can I earn with domain parking? ↑Top

Parking earnings can vary from a few cents to thousands of dollars depending on the amount and quality of the domain's traffic.

Is parking binding? Can I opt out at any time? ↑Top

Our domain parking program is not binding and there are absolutely no contractual obligations involved. Furthermore, although we sincerely hope you'll be satisfied with our service, you can stop parking your domains and remove them from the NameRich database at any time.

When do I get my parking revenue? ↑Top

Parking revenue is paid at the end of each parking cycle. This normally takes place during the last week of each month. Details about payment can be found in the Management Center after logging in.

Do I ever have to pay for parking? ↑Top

No, parking is absolutely free of charge.

How much will I earn per click for the parking program? ↑Top

The revenue per click is dependent on several factors including the type of advertisement that is clicked, where it is clicked on from and how much an advertiser is willing to pay.

What should I avoid if I don't want to be blocked from the parking program. ↑Top

The following could lead to you being blocked from the parking program:

  • Adding blatantly pornographic, political or gambling related domains.
  • Using scripts or other automated methods of generating clicks
  • Clicking on the advertisements yourself (or asking your friends, family, pets etc. to click on them)
  • Pop-ups or pop-unders
  • Incentivized clicks (forcing our encouraging visitors to click on the links)
  • Everything which cannot be classified as “natural” traffic (Natural traffic = search engine results and type-ins)

Namerich regularly monitors the domains parked with us and the hits that they receive.
If we detect any irregular traffic on a domain, we will withhold payment as a preliminary measure.

Parking Acronyms? ↑Top

CTR: Click Through Rate (the ratio between page views to clicks on advertisements)

CPC: Cost Per Click (also known as RPC or EPC, which measures how much the owner of a parked page will receive for each click on an advertisement)

EPC: Earnings Per Click (see CPC)

RPM: Revenue Per Thousand (value of traffic created by parked domain)

Do I remain owner of the domain? ↑Top

Yes, you retain all rights to your domains. We simply provide a platform for advertisers to use your domain, earning you money in return. You do not need to change registrars or update the whois entry. You simply need to change the DNS settings at your registrar to direct your domains to our servers.

Our domain parking program is not binding and there are absolutely no contractual obligations involved. Furthermore, you can stop parking your domains and remove them from the Namerich database at any time without giving any reason for doing so.

Can I park as many domains as I want? ↑Top

Yes, you can park as many domains as you like. There is no limit.

However, there are some restrictions to what types of domain names can be parked on NameRich. For details on these restrictions, please refer to the NameRich Terms of Service & Privacy Policy.

I've parked my domains on NameRich but I can't see my Chinese parking pages. Why? ↑Top

If you are located outside of China and visit one of your domains, you will be directed to a non-Chinese parking page. If you would like to receive a screen capture of one of your Chinese pages, please contact service@namerich.com

Why should an international business secure a .CN name?
↑Top

As the next frontier of global e-business, .CN presents companies everywhere with an unprecedented opportunity to succeed in the Chinese marketplace. China's recent accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) is proof that the Chinese economy is taking great strides toward accessibility. Now is an ideal time for companies to protect their brand identities in .CN, and to begin making inroads into the Chinese marketplace.

What is the .CN value proposition? ↑Top

.CN offers registrants the protection of a well-established brand name in what is certain to become one of the most lucrative marketplaces in the world. Finally, .CN enjoys widespread notoriety and recognition among the Chinese population.

WhoIs data is collected when a domain name is registered and is public information. The Whois information appears whenever a person conducts a WhoIs search on a particular domain name.

What is a Name Server? ↑Top

Name servers are the Internet's equivalent to phone books. A name server maintains a directory of domain names that match certain IP addresses (computers). The information from all the name servers across the Internet is gathered in a central registry.
This makes it possible for people across the Internet to access your Web site using a familiar domain name, instead of having to remember a series of numbers.

Can I register a domain without having a hosting provider yet? ↑Top

Yes, you can register as many domains names as you'd like and choose to have them parked until you find a hosting provider. To do so, register a domain name and select "Parking." This temporary page will inform anyone passing by that this is the future location of your site.
